I was going to use these on my engine build but now im restoring a 68 mustang so i dont need these. They were cleaned and blasted, then painted with Dupli-color 500 degree engine paint, 2 coats of primer, 4 coats of gloss black, 2 coats of gloss red in the recesses and finished off with 4 coats of clear coat. They are very glossy. The paint wasnt cheap it was 8.00 a can (8x3 cans)
