its a different intake on a 96 than a 98 and up

96 has an angled TB. only 99-02 has the straight.

it works with both, you'll be fine. You might need a little tinkering, but should be fine.

I think it would work. it's just 2 90 degree bends and two straight pipes connected to a filter...after looking at pics it seems like it should work but i'm not an expert w/angled TBs

Like I said, maybe just a little trimming or something to make it work. Nothing major. Its just a pipe running down to lower area to bring in cold air. If you have basic tools and half a brain you can make this work even if it doesnt fit right out of the box.

and yea, the 90 degree bends are just rubber so you could shave them pretty easy.
