I don't think there is anything wrong with it. If I have time tomorrow, I will go get it unlocked and test it out just to make sure.

I am almost positive it will not work on the non-monsoon stereo as the impedances are different.

i had a monsoon hu unit in my non monsoon car and it actually made my non monsoon speakers (stock) sound better....it did work with my car and was just plug and play but a few months later one of my speakers blew out (bound to happen). that was my experience

The paint is just scraped off a little. Other than that, it's in perfect condition.

Garretberg, yes it will work in your 98 camaro.

I have two. The one in the pictures, then another with a headphone jack added that I'll let go for $65 shipped. Both work like they are supposed to.

Beware it says "Pontiac" right on the front. You may not care but some people are picky about things like that.
