got the 02 LS1 but closest V6 is a 99

It won't work for a 99 but if you put the 2001 pcm in that I'm giving away with it then it will work.

99 is an auto
but it runs unlike any Ive had
I would like to see what tune the current PCM has on it,
runs too good to be stock,has headers,exhaust,CAI.

Actually I don't think the pcm is different auto or manual, just the wiring. You won't be able to see the tune on the 99 pcm but you can tune it yourself with the new pcm :D

Hmm... I have a 2000 manual. This is sounding tasty...

and yeah, the only difference in a manual PCM is the shift tables are zeroed out, if I remember correctly.

Theres alittle more difference betweeen A4's and M5's but just copy and pasteing the tables works fine, the octane tables are different and the fueling is alittle diffferent, its best to just go through and copy and paste or have someone with unlimited tuning for that year just flash the PCM with the same OS system and change it to from a A4 to M5, I have done it many times since I can flash all 97' 3.8 PCM's, , 2002 LS1 PCM's, 2000 truck PCM's and 2005 3.8 Buick PCM's. You might see if Hptuners will let you upgrade from serial to the PRO version usb. Def. worth it if they will let you do it.

also you can download the stock A4 tune from the tune repository instead of copy pasting the tables
