Series III 3.8 V6 from a 2006 pontiac grand prix, with 50,8xx miles.
This engine will fit any vehicle equipped with a series II or III engine.
I just finished putting a similar engine in a 97 firebird.
This engine was going in that car, but I found water in the oil. The upper and lower intakes, valve covers, water pump and oil pan have been removed and will need new gaskets. It possibly needs head gaskets as well. The water could have gotten in the engine before it was test ran at the salvage yard. I would put head gaskets on it before running it as the intake gaskets looked good and showed no signs of leakage. Or you could run a compression test on the stand if you have a way to do that. I'm not sure how accurate they are without the engine being warm.
Looking for $300 OBO. Freight shipping will probably run around $250.
It is basically as it is in the picture. I didnt put some of the FWD specific brackets or tensioner assy back on, but I do have them. The coil packs and ICM are gone though.
