yes specs are pretty impressive when you compare to the old 3.4 or even the 3.8 buick.
Someone on a Fiero forum made 500HP with a turbo version of this motor.

makes a lot of sense for a 3.4,3.1 or 2.8 swap since its the same basic engine family.
I think the increase in bore spacing put swapping parts from one to other out of it,
but its still very close to same dimensions.
I have a 3.4 out of car so can take pics of the 2 side by side if needed.

Interested for sure, and can pick it up even, my shop is in Pompano Beach (just north of FtLauderdale).

The 3900 has a new bore spacing and engine mount pattern, and I know a Fiero owner with one that has twin t3's, he is here in FL as well.

Not interested in trans really, but gonna talk to my biz partner about this for sure.

Well LMK soon Ive got this 87 Fiero out back with a sick motor.....
if I can get the title straightened out for it.
Specs are pretty impressive for an almost bolt in on the 2.8.
Wasnt that guy squeezing about 500 ponies out of one?
