It's a fuel management unit. FMU for short. Increases fuel pressure according to boost. Usually in 1:1 ratios. If you don't have HP tuners and you're running forced induction these are important so you don't blow up your motor from running too lean.

RPD, I would buy this from you in a heartbeat if I had the cash. I have a whole other N/A camaro that this would fit nicely on.
