I've got an extra set of the 16x8 5-spoke alloys that are just laying around, and I'd like to get rid of them. Not looking to make money on these, just want to clear up some clutter in the shop. The wheels need refinished, so I'm giving the buyer the option to have them powdercoated before they're shipped out. I have a local shop do all my powdercoating for me, and they've not let me down yet. I have a few pictures on my computer of things they've done for me if anyone wants to see. I also plan on having a catalog posted online by the weekend (by Sun. Jan. 23) of what colors the shop can readily do.

I'm asking $50 for the full set as-is, buyer pays shipping. If you're interested in having them powdercoated before shipped, get in touch with me. I'm not sure of an exact price, but I'd say it's a safe bet that for all four, a single coat finish would run between $150-200, and a two coat finish coming in between $200-300, depending on what colors you choose. If anyone is interested in buying these, I will do my best to help find a way to keep the shipping cost to a minimum, or if you live within a decent driving distance, I will meet and drop them off personally.

I don't have any pictures of the rims right now, I could have some within a couple of days. However, these are your basic 5-spokes (not the twisted-spoke style that came later).

      Re: Firebird wheels

Here's some pics of the rims, sorry it's not that good. The rims could use a good cleaning. The two upper rims have been stripped to bare aluminum (they were this way when I bought them) and have some light scratches on them. The two lower ones still have their original paint, though the clearcoat is flaking off in some areas. There's no curb rash to them, so the lips are in decent shape. I'm not sure what is up with the center caps, they came with the wheels. As I said before, these would make a decent set of wheels to use for the winter or if you have a good set of wheels that you'd rather keep put up until it's time to show them off. As far as I know none are bent. They would make good candidates for a new coat of paint or powdercoat.
