My biz partner (WOT-TECH.com) just moved down here from Warsaw and we could potentially want this item since one of his fam/friends could go check it out for us. The price is right, but being in FL, we don't deal with rust like you guys do.
the only thing to really worry about is the diff cover, and you can buy a new one for a few bucks

I have seen the LCA tabs rip, same with shock mounts on a rusty rear. I am sure you can understand when someone spends a significant amount of money on their car, I would rather not put in something of a lesser quality than we can get local, just because it's a good deal...

I live up north and all I can say is i wouldnt be at all worried about buying a rear diff out of a car that has been used (and not just the diff sitting out in the open)

Re: LS1 10 bolt rear end, 3.42 gears
there is certainly rust on it, the paint used on these isnt exactly high quality. But the rust that is on it no way effects the integrity of the part. I don't want to ship it, so if you're in Florida and you want it then you're out of luck haha.
Cam98aro is absolutely right. There is no need to be worried about the integrity of the rear. Any rust on it is simply surface rust from the fact that it is a 11 year old part.
