I don't have pics of my individual pieces yet, but they look like the ones linked below. They're supposed to help protect the fender lip and bracket on the underside of the front. 99+ car's didn't come with them.

You can read about gains on this forum. It takes place of the OEM fin and baffle lid. I'll see if I can snap a pic tomorrow, but it looks like a normal textured black Whisper lid with the 3800 II lettering and straight neck design.

Gains over a shaved lid are minimal with the main advantage being that you go from an oval-shaped neck to a round-shaped neck that connects to the throttle body. I've heard that the Whisper lid is a bit taller to accommodate more volume, but never confirmed that myself. The lid also takes place of the silencer delete. It just comes down to preference between a DIY shaved lid or an aftermarket option.
