I'm wondering about the U-joints too... I purchased an engine/trans from a car that had an aluminum ds and am using my steel 2-piece, and have some leakage issues. The alum. DS U-joint LOOKS different, but has the same aprox. dimensions. I was thinking about switching to the U-joint that originally mated to my new transmission to solve the leakage issues....
In addition, the newer u-joint has a rubber dampener which I would think removes some vibration.
Opinions anyone?

it is not sold yet. I don't know if all u joints have to be changed or not but is seems a lot of people changed theirs because they would not fit.
