That's a nice PC you got. Are you upgrading to A64 and those new gen cards? I got a XP2500 and Radeon 9800. Although I don't play it much ever since I dl 8500 games for my XBOX. All the old ones and most the XBOX titles. Graphics ain't as good as on the PC, but it's hella fun.Comment

phew its great to see that there are some compitent and reasonable people on this board [img]smile.gif[/img] yes i have now learned that this isnt the best board to sell my gaming comp on lol. thanks though Jason, and im more of an Intel guy myself clark but i have owned quite a few AMDs, i am really interested in the new 64s, look very promising! i stick to intels because they have been coming out with REALLY good overclockable proccessors. if you buy the right junk and know how to reach that speed without loosing too much stability. anyways Half Life 2 is where it is at, that game is BY FAR the absolute greatest thing that is ever going to hapen to the gaming industry, it is TOTALLY going to revolutionize the gaming world. you guys HAVE to dl the E3 demos from gamespy they are INCREDIBLE!!!!!! i am building this PC to be a Half Life gaming machine lol... oh well i guess that my test PC will be my new LAN machine. I forgot to mention. I overclock all my PCs too.
I got my 333FSB 2500+ @ 400FSB 3200+. My 9800NP running @ PRO speeds. I only run it at those speeds when I need to though. Fried my GF2MX back in the day. Ran for a week then artifacts and wouldn't boot to OS.
People don't know that you have to mess around with alot of setting to get a stable overclock. Memory brand along with correct settings. FSB settings along with the overall CPU speed. You have to pick the right CPU and MOBO and MEM combination.Comment
