dremel modified factory airbox lid & intake bellow
dremel modified factory airbox lid & intake bellow
I'm selling a dremel modified stock airbox lid along with a smooth rubber intake bellow (the piece that connects to the back of the airbox) from my 2000 'bird. Clamps are included. Paid $20 for the bellow and put a couple hours' work into the lid. Asking $50 shipped. I don't have any pics at the moment but can get them if needed.
about 1 1/2 - 2 hours, and actually it isn't much for looks, but it sure is smooth as hell...lol The grinding wasn't too bad except for the two ribs on the ends of the box cuz you have to get the grindstone down in the corner of the box while being careful not to grind off the rubber seal that comes with a K & N filter. I sanded it down 4 or 5 times and washed it in between each sanding to make absolutely sure all the plastic and sandpaper particles came out. Better safe than sorry IMO.
And like I said, I paid $20 for the smooth rubber intake bellow (in great condition, btw) that replaces the silencer, which is included also. The ones for the V6 are a little harder to come by then the SLP ones.
I'll get pics for someone interested in buying it, but not for your amusement lol
