Its pretty straight forward.. There are 2 bolts under the change holder for the plastic piece that the ashtray and cig lighter sit on and that thing comes out, there is a bolt under the ashtray, and two bolts 1 on each side of the stereo consil that hold the center consil on.. And then you take off your shifter nob by unscrewing it, take off the boot.. there is a big rubber boot with like 8 small 5.5 mm bolts ( I think thats the size) that hold the rubber boot on.. After thats off there is only 4 bolts I think 1/2 inch or 13 mm that hold the shifter on.. After you get the shifter off there is a little white plastic cup in the top of the tranny that the ball at the bottom of the shifter ( check out picture in earlier posts) sits in.. just make sure you get that ball inside the cup and install the new shifter the same way as the old one.. If I missed anything I think Stephan the Virus has picture of his install on his website..

I have a whisper lid for a 98 Firebird.. It has a hole drilled in it for my Nozzle.. If you want that let me know..
