I lowered the "buy it now" to $2100....

If somebody uses that before the first bid, then they're guaranteed to get it for that price, and bidding stops. But once the first bid is made, ebay turns off that option.

I was surprised, they went up almost to the regular price...

I've bid on stuff before, and seen it go for over the regular price. It's funny, people can get caught up in having to win, and they get a little crazy. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Now the blower on the other hand, somebody got a heck of a deal on that. I paid $1800 for it originally, and sunk another $200 in it, plus labor and design time. So I came out $500 behind on that one....

But at least it's sold, and somebody has a blower they can use, and I have money instead of a blower sitting around that I'm not using. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I wasn't sure if Keith was letting out the secret... Yeah John, I was really hoping to win the bearings so you could just throw them in the blower box when you sent it down here to Raleigh. Like you said, the guy ended up winning for almost the price of the set that is going for 105 Buy it Now on there. i had them for 81 until the last seconds.
