because I said I had one for sale also so you both would be happy, and he thought I was trying to steal the thread.
          I dont want to ruin Oreo's thread anymore. So if youd like more details you can email me

              </font>
There is always one person who can't see more than 5 feet in front of them, so I will explain a little better to you.

              There are two people wanting the same thing, in this case, being the programmer for $260. If Oreo here has two people wanting it, he could possibly make a little more than $260 by having whichever of the two potential buyers negotiate back and forth to see which is willing to pay more money. By you posting in here telling them about it, you have just destroyed any chance of that happening, and destroyed the chance of any bartering whatsoever. I have seen Oreo's posts on this stuff, he is having a hard enough time trying to sell a lot of it, so he doesn't need someone hijacking his threads.

              If you want to know the reason why the rules in this forum are followed so closely more than any other forum on this message board is because there is money to be made and lost in here. If you have something for sale, then you make your own post about it.

                  As stated in private e-mails I told him that I was not sure of what years the HPP3 would work on. Not to be rude but this forum and listing is for FOR SALE items and products not for bickering or other discussions. Possible customers that I may have don't want to read through two tons of B.S. to ask a question or get and answer! Thank you

                        I'd rather sell the kit as a whole. F/S list has been updated.

                            Correct. He should have sent you a private message with that explanation, and quoting the rules and notifying you that your post was being deleted, rather than changing editing your post, with a silly comment, causing embarassment and confusion...because at first I thought YOU were saying you hated thieves...until I saw it was edited by the moderator and further explanation came after....

                            I'm not trying to offend anyone, or tell people how to do your jobs -- but with about 9 years in the military, how you come accross to people and they way you present words to others can make or break you as a leader (in this case, a leader is a moderator), abd how people will respect you - because too many people reflect on the negative, rather than being subtle and having a little bit of tact. Granted we all are not in the military, but people skills are universal.

                              </font>
You might be right, but there is one significant flaw, I do not have PERSONAL contact with these people beyond that of email. I can't tell these people face to face; where tact and being somewhat subtle may work well in real life, they serve little to affect words on a monitor. Also, with email, it is only the one individual who I can contact about what they did wrong. The main reason why I do what I do, is because I want everyone to see what I mean, and that there will be no tolerance to the rules being broken, with no room for error.

                              Yeah, I may mess with people beyond what most would do, but I do it to everyone, EQUALLY. I don't have time to parent people in here and treat them as "special little people", especially in this forum. If you think that I am not doing my job here correctly, I have a proven track record. The problems before I got here dropped significantly after I arrived as the moderator. People know me to be blunt and to the point throughout this message board, and that is what has earned the respect of others here. But in no way do I single out according to how they are, I single everyone out equally.

                              Would you like to know what snatch did? He stole a possible sale from Oreo LT1 by offering another product WITHIN Oreo's post. Thats called stealing, and a person that steals is a thief. I will not sit here and apologize for something that I believe, and that I would do no matter the circumstance, whether it be online, or face to face. I'm done explaining myself, I shouldn't have to everytime someone has a problem with the rules. The rules are the first thing you see when this forum loads on anyones computer, I can't see why anyone can't see them, let alone abide by them. Anymore problems, email me.

                              Oreo, I will let you repost this stuff for sale, but I have to lock this, for both our goods. This is not against you in any way, and I will apologize to you for your inconvenience, I never meant for any of this to get this far, but some don't want to understand financially what kind of money actually flows from here, and what the stakes are in here to lose if someone can't follow rules.
