Its not a stut tower brace its a transmission tunnel brace.. It does the same thing as a STB but it is for the tranny tunnel.. If you look under your car behind the crossmember for the tranny there is a thin sheet of metal that goes across the tranny tunnel.. the brace replaces it..

I know camarowidbass has first dibs, but if that doesn't work out, I think I want your LSD. I'll pay full asking price if shipping is reasonable to 78666. [texas]
Is this the same thing as what the Y87 cars have? Is it in good working order? Is it something that can be added in to my existing open 3.23 with professional installation, or are other parts necessary? Thanks.

It will be 60.00 shipped.. Its a stock diff out of a 00 Z28..
It has a broke bearing on the driverside but I bought a rebuild kit with new bearings and my Eaton came with new bearings on it so I will just throw in the bearings from the rebuild kit.. You just have to unpress the old bearing on the passenger side and the race on the driverside and press on the new bearings and prestow you have a working LSD with about 40,000 miles on it..
