• AK For Sale/Trade.

I have a chinese AK-47 variant (MAK-90) for sale/trade. Bought less than a year ago new in box. Have only put about 800 rounds through it, everything in good condition, still with box, cleaning supplies. Comes with three 5 round mags, and four 30 round mags. Fires perfectly, never one jam. Also comes with an adjustable bipod, soft carry case with mag pockets, and safelock. I paid 500 for the gun itself, then a little over a 100 for accesories. Asking $450, may be negotiable , will consider trades, got something to trade, audio, performance parts, drop me a line, and I'll let you know. Also, I will run a basic background check before selling. If you need to know your state laws, email me, and I'll let you know. It's semi-auto, and legal in most states, but if your not sure like I said, just ask!

Can you shoot me some pictures of it? I've got a buddy that's seriously looking for a gun (I went with him today) and this is what he's leaning towards. I think he was looking at a Romanian SAR-1 or something, but was also interested in the chinese version. I don't know squat about guns, but I'm sure he would be interested in it if you wouldnt mind emailing me some pics.

I'll get some more up in the morning for you. The MAK-90 has the most unique stock/grip setup. The thumbhole on that thing is actually pretty comfortable. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Is that legal in North Carolina? I've still got two months before I'm 21.

Yep, it's legal in NC, and I forgot to mention. You must be at least 18 to purchase this. 18 for all rifles and shotguns.

I told my friend about it, but I dunno if he's ready just yet to settle on a gun. Make sure to post a link of the auction too once you put it up, I'll point him in that direction. I think he's really hoping for something called an SAR-2(??).

How exactly would this transaction take place? My old roommate bought a WWII Russian rifle, and as far as I know didn't have to do anything special. Is that the case for something like this? An M-16 is the only rifle I have experience with, is this AK somewhat similar?

Wouldnt you need a license to own a gun like that? It cant be that easy to buy a variant of an AK47.

Dojo, the gun is shipped to a FFL liscensed dealer. I would send it to the closest dealer to you, and you pick it up there. The first rifle I fired was an M-16, hated it, jams like hell when you get anything in it. The AK just wont jam, it has more kick than the M-16, and field stripping is a hell of a lot easier. And DaRock, just depends on where you live. I bought this rifle shortly after I turned 18, walked in, put down the cash, quick bg check, and I walked out with it. Gotta love FL's gun laws. Now that I think about it, I may be able to take the bolt out, and ship it seperately so that they can both be shipped to anyone directly, eliminating the middle man. I'll find out for sure, and let you know.

No, it has to be shipped to a dealer, simple process. Just anyone who sells guns, pawn shops, gun shops, etc.. Ships to him, then you pick it up from him.
