is the intake manifold straight, or angled, if its angled i would be interested

hey, would i need a 98 pcm programmed for 3.23's to use the 3.23 gears? i have a 98 bird also and have been told there's no programmers made for my year, so if i did upgrade (got 3.08's right now), would i need custom programming or something?

You dont need a program.. I switched from 3.23's-3.73's and still have my stock pcm untouched.. And now I have a bigger motor with heads, cam ,intake and still rocking a stock pcm..

Your speedometer (and odometer based on that)and shift points will be off until you get it programmed. I know SLP sells a programmer you slpice into your wiring harness, or you can get hptuners or soemthin like that..

No I dont.. I had some LS1 calipers a couple of months ago but sold them already..
