Anyone interested in an HP Tuners setup for a 98 v6?

I am interested in it. Been thinking of buying hpt and was hoping someone with a '98 would sell theirs. I just bought a laptop (in hopes of using it for tuning), so I can't afford quite that much right now. Any chance the price would come down any? Email me and we'll talk, I'll think about it for a bit and look over my budget. AlienInv8r@comcast.net

I think that's the lowest I'll go. This is over $500 new and it's not like software and a cable get used up, so you'd be getting this product at a substantial discount. 375 and probably around 10 to ship and insure it. Let me know.

HPTuners new comes with 'two vehicle types'
I have yet to figure out exactly what that means.

is it year specific only...and then I could tune a 98 buick regal as a second type...or could my second type be a 2001 v6 firebird with the first type being a 98 camaro/firbird?

Or: if you have not picked a second vehicle type yet can that be done now?

Two vehicle types means that you get programming for any two of the vehicles they offer. One could be a 98 vette, and the other could be a 2002 v6 camaro. You can only get this if you buy new from them. I bought my cable with only one vehicle type and it cannot be changed. My cable and software would allow you to program any 1998 V6 Camaro/Firebird. The cable is not locked to the VIN either, that means you can program as many 1998 V6 Camaros/Firebirds as you want.
