• 2000 Red Camaro for Sale

Hey guys. The time has come to sell the fun car and get a practical one. I have recently moved to college, so I need an SUV that can bring more than a suitcase down here.

Whats up for sale is my 2000 Camaro. It is red with black interior and is automatic. It has all the options, minus leather and power seats. It has just over 41k miles. It is in great shape and has never been wrecked.

Since getting the car, I have added 17" Corvette Y2K rims, a Flowmaster exhaust, a K&N airfilter, an RKSport Air Temp control module, carbon fiber interior kit, and Pioneer DEHP8400MP cd player (with stock Monsoon system). All the parts added up to just below $3,000.

This car is a ton of fun. I have babied this car since the day I got it. It has gotten Mobil 1 synthetic at every oil change. It also just got brand new brake pads and a full tune-up before I left for school.

The car is currently in Cincinnati with me, but I live in Columbus, OH. Let me know if you have any questions. E-mail me at Mattboy16@aol.com or post it here.

Best offer made takes the car so don't be afraid to throw one out there.

A price for the item being sold MUST be listed. Cannot go by "Best Offer"

Sorry about not posting a price before.

The Private Party Blue Book price for this car is just below $11,000, while the Retail Blue Book is just below $13,000. Considering this and the fact that I put $3,000 worth of parts on the car, I was going to ask for $13,000.

This is less than I am asking on Autotrader because I would rather sell it to one of you guys. Let me know what you think.

If you're lucky a dealership 'll give you $8000 for it. This is going off of all my experience working at dealership and the guides they use. I recommend dropping the price a bit.

foff667, you're off. His is a low mileage 2000. It's 5 years old -- most 5 year old cars are in the 80k-90k mile range. Since it is only at ~42000 miles it helps its value.

I listed that asking price based on the Kelly Blue Book value. It's private party value is $10,800. On top of this I have the $3,000 worth of parts. That's why I thought that $13,000 was a good starting point.

Well, as an example, when I bought my 2000 last year with 34,xxx miles from a dealer, he wanted $13k before I traded in my old car. Out the door was ~$12k

I looked at cars like that in my area when I came up with the price. Once again, if you think it should be lower make an offer.

Would anybody be more interested if I included the factory SS hood I have for the car. It's currently red but needs to be repainted.

If you haven't yet, put your car on Autotrader.com and pay for the best posting with the most pictures and the thumbnail when you search. People that look here already have V6 Camaros. Just FYI, I sold my 2000 red Camaro for $8,500 cash a few months ago. It had t tops, 5 speed, 60,000 miles, cam, exhaust, intake, cd changer and put down 210rwhp. Mine had more miles but also more options, only two things it didn't have were leather and the automatic which some prefer a stick anyways. The three inquiries that I got were all from Autotrader.com and oddly, all from Oklahoma. I wish you luck on your sale, I'm sure glad I sold mine.

It's on Autotrader, but like I said I would rather see it go to somebody who knows a lot about Camaros.

One offer on another site for around $11,000. Just so you know if anybody wants to make another offer.
