  • 3.4L P&P Heads, Intakes, 1.6:1 roller-tip rocker arms. Partial trades possible.

I bought these from camaro_dakota early this year before I got my 96 Camaro. Since I no longer have plans to soup up the 3.4 and even more-so because I have haggard medical bills to pay (I only have one hand for the next six weeks, other is stitched and wired up), I need to sell these.

I bought them for $550 shipped. I'll sell for $450 shipped obo to anywhere in the continental USA.

I'm trying to locate the thread with the specs, but haven't been able to at this point.

I remember that they were done at a shop in Florida, milled down .01", fully rebuilt with new valve seals and all that, intakes gasket-matched to heads, no work done to polish the combustion chambers (dakota told me why, but I forget). The specs are supposedly the same as SSM's kit.

    From Southern94 (owner before Dakota)

vat & shotpeen heads & valves ,surface heads
intake seat & bowl work ,Exhaust seat & bowl work
lap & backcut valves ,matchport intake and exhaust sides heads
matchport intake top and bottom, matchport upper intake
I'm open to partial trades. I like computer equipment (I build my own systems), electronic goodies, gadgets that make me say "cool!" and could also definitely use a 4L60/700R4 for my 93 to get it back in operation. But trannys are hard to ship.

I'd go straight across on an HPTuners package for the 97 PCM if I were that lucky to have the option.

Nobody going advanced on the 3.4?

Hate to think that I have 60 pounds of scrap iron and 30 pounds of scrap aluminum. Hate to have to take it to the recycling center.

$300? With a net take of only $200 after shipping? Never. My original price is where I stand.

I'd rather mount them and sell the old parts than take that big of a loss. It's hard enough to get rebuilt stock heads for $200.

Would you just sell the rockers by themself or not? Also, do yuo have pushrods with the heads or not. I cant afford the heads, even though I want and need them. Wish i could afford. Let me know.

The rockers I don't see myself using as I won't be camming. $90+shipping would take em. They're new as far as I know. Dakota can correct me if I'm wrong, but they look like they were just put on the heads and then taken back off.

They are stored in baggies at the moment with corrosion inhibitor covering them.

As you are in Houston, I bet FedEx Home would ship em for like $10 and you'd get them in two to three business days.

Are you selling a upper and lower intake also? I didnt know if you were selling those, or if you meant you had ported the intake and exhaust passages of the head. If so, how much for the upper and lower intake? Also, I will keep the rockers in mind. I have to watch my budget right now. I will let you know, if anyone comes up with the money right now, going ahead and let them go. Thanks,

                          easyc4:

Heads and intakes without roller tipped rocker arms? I will say $400 shipped. I give the big discount to anyone who wants the rocker arms. Add $50 and get those as well. Bargain considering the rocker arms sell for $130 elswhere. Tell you what though, if you really are serious about this, I'll knock $20 off if you by the set minus the rockers or the whole thing because Wednesday would be soon enough I wouldn't have to move it all this upcoming weekend. That would mean $380 for the heads and intakes or $430 for the heads, intakes and rockers. That's shipped price.

As for separating the intakes from the heads, that's not a good idea. The whole set was gasket matched.

Guess my response didn't go through, but no, I don't have the gaskets. Gasket matching, I think, just means that the outlet of the upper intake is guaranteed to smoothly match the inlet of the lower intake and the outlets of the lower intake will match the inlets of the intake ports on the heads.

I believe the gaskets can be modified to fit from stock. Just line them up, mark and cut if necessary.

It can't be too hard to do. My brother had to do the same thing for the heads on his 350.

I'm getting nervous that you haven't responded to me today, but I'm sure you have your reasons.
