After test driving a new GTO I fell in love with the car but not the high price tag. I have decided to do an LS1/T56 swap. In the car now is my 3.8 with auto tranny. Both are in excellent condition.
Engine has 72K miles, Pacesetter ceramics installed with less than 3 months of use, had religious 3K oil changes, been fed a regular diet of 89 octane and never overheated.
Tranny has a new torque converter, harness and uptated valve body (no P1870 code). This work was performed on year ago.
As an aircraft mechanic, I kept a maintenance log of all work performed from the day I bought the car. Sale includes all parts removed including engine, tranny, radiator, harness, computer, pedals, etc. You can have everything that comes off.
I have not removed anything yet to provide buyer the chance to actually drive the car with the parts running to guarantee their performance.
The car is in Northern Connecticut and the selling price for everything is $1,500 + shipping.
