  • Turbo...kinda kit...for sale

Ok, well, i've since finishing my 3.8 camaro project bought my 99 eclipse gsx back and have to sell the camaro. I think that I'll do best selling it as a stock car, so I'm going to sell off the turbo stuff. Included would be:

    -Rebuilt T3/T4 Turbo .53 trim
-HP Tuners (only if a '97)
    -36 lb/hr. accel injectors
    -greddy type s blow off
    -xs power 4psi wastegate
    -manual boost controller
    -autometer C2 boost guage
    -SS oil lines
    -Ebay FMIC
    -All intercooler piping
    -Forward Exhaust Manifolds
    -Y-pipe
    -Downpipe

All of this added up to about $3500 for me to put together. The car ran fine and was pretty fun to drive, but I only used it for about 60 miles in total because the way I did the y-pipe put the turbo too low so the oil would not go back to the pan fast enough. I'm really just throwing in the the manifolds and piping as an extra. Its up to you whether you wanna wrestle with them to get them on your car. I made all the flanges and everything myself so there are some leaks. I put that exhaust sealer putty on all the joints just to be safe so they're not pretty. The manifolds are header wrapped and so is the Y-pipe so they look pretty neat. The kit did and still does on my car, if you want to use the pipes, you need a scavenge pump for the return line. About a $200 purchase. Thats all up to you. Like I said, all the parts involved would just be a kick**s head start to turboing your car. I want $2000 for everything plus shipping. If the HP tuners will not work for your year car, I'll take $1700 for everything minus HPtuners obviously. You can feel free to say no thanks to the manifolds and piping so it won't jack the shipping costs. Once again, its all up to you. If you are interested, email me at TDZ16@hotmail.com or IM me at ataris1618 on AIM. Take care.
    ~Tom

"-HP Tuners (only if a '97)"

There ya go bud. As far as I know it'll only work on that one year. I know guys swap PCM's sometimes to make it work....

I would rather wait a bit before splitting the kit up. In the end, I wouldn't feel comfortable selling the pipes and whatnot just because they aren't my "best work" so to speak. You know, they did work, the engine ran, held boost, spooled quick, but i just would feel comfortable taking money for them and would rather them just be an extra to the "kit". Thanks for lookin, and if i end up just parting the stuff out, if you REALLY want them, i'll just have you pay like 100 bucks to cover some of the cost of the pipes plus shipping. You have to remember that you will need an oil scavenge pump to get the oil back to the pan from the turbo with my pipe setup because of where I mounted the turbo (low in the front). I'll keep you posted....but for now....any takers???

hey man that sounds awesome. i could maybe take it to a welding shop and have them copy them i just don't want to leave the whole car there for awhile. well keep me posted on this. i would really like to have foward headers rather then y pipe go under the car. thank you.. i would buy this kit but i don't have that kind of cash right now.
