Hello all, Im Aaron. Im new to the 4th gen world as i just bought a 96 Camaro RS, I got the 3800 series 2 V6 but the Car has the sports package so it is basicy the V8 car with a V6, but you knew that.... Anywho, I use to own a 91 Camaro RS with the 3.1 V6 and i had wantted to go forced induction. I found and bought a Remanufactured and never used roots type Fageol Supercharger meant for a 2.8 S-10 on ebay that i was going to use on my engine. Long story short i got rid of the 91 and no longer own a 60 degree V6 so the manifold for the supercharger obviously won't fit my engine. One could remove the supercharger and use it on any car but i don't feel like doing that. My 96 needs a new engine and tranny so im looking to sell the supercharger kit i have. I have many pictures and Tons of info on it. Thank you for your time guys.

go to www.614streets.com . in his projects section you can see pictures of his USED one, i bought this UNUSED kit from him. I figured id post this as well, it produces 70.64 cu. in of pressure per revolution with a step up ratio of 1.77 to 1 for a total of 125 cu in per crankshaft revolution with the stock pulley. Thats about 6 lbs of boost on a 100% stock application which equals a 40% increase in power. Reading 614streets site you can also learn how he used a smaller pulley to get more power.Moi Sez Puppie Caio

well, it seems nobody is interested, so i very well may end up taking it off the 2.8/3.1/3.4 manifold and modiying a lower 3.8 manifold so everything lines up, seems better then using a eaton as you get what only about a 25% increase in power? from 200 to 240, using the 40% increase varible from the 2.8 engine, using a smaller pully, i bet i could get 60% more power from a 3.8 with that babyMoi Sez Puppie Caio

This kit is still for sale. I need to sell this within 1 week, Make an offer if your interested! I can give instruction on how to modify this to fit a 3.8 Camaro! It doesn't involve much if your into fabrication. Basicly you need to remove the blower from the 2.8/3.1/3.4 manifold, remove everything from the top of the 3.8 manifold except the fuel system stuff. Then build a block off plate (A bit obvious to me but you would need to cut a hole in this plate to allow air from the blower to get through)that will then bolt down ontop of the lower plenum inplace of the old upper and middle air intake manifold. The blower then bolts to that plate. You would then need to remove the old varajet carb top from the super charger and make another plate (again with a hole in it for air to get through) to mount your throttle body too. So long as everything with the pulley is lined up and all the cables for the throttle body are the right lengths i don't see why this wont work! If your having trouble visualizing this, the blower will basicly replace the piece stamped 3800 series II and the piece below it. That allows you to keep your stock fuel injection system and your stock lower manifold. There is the little issue of modifying the cars computer but the only advice i can give on that is to say maybe a 3.8 Supercharged grandprix computer would work in place of a Camaro computer. Thank You for your time guys. Hopefully i piqued somebodies interest.
