- FOR SALE - Dallas/Ft Worth Area -
:( The car has a blown clutch and slave cylinder as of 8/31/2005. As much as it pains me I'm not going to put anymore money into the car. I love it, but have decided to move on. The parts and repairs are quoted at about $800 (parts and labor from Pepboys). It could be done cheaper if somone wants to buy the parts and work on it themselves. I don't think it would take much to get her up and running again, I'm just moving onto a new car, so I'm ready to sell this one.
My loss is your gain. This car will turn heads and make people look like this
DETAILS:
It is a 1997 30th Anniversary Camaro Coupe - V6 3.8L with manual 5 speed transmission. Standard options, no power, but has MANY modifications - see my website for a listing: http://www.killebrewonline.com/Car/97camaro.htm
Most noticiable is the appearance of the vehicle: It has a full SLP Performance Ultra Z hood w/RAM Air box and Ultra Z Spoiler - I even added the Ultra Z badges
The car has been able to hang with stock Z's with no problem - I ain't bragging it's a fact. The car is very quick and has an amazing suspension. I've never had an opportunity to dyno, but most professional auto techs that have seen and worked with the car estimate at least 275 HP, more like 300HP. The shorter-stroke V6 gives it a peepy boost, and it will jump off the line like v8. This is a great car even though it currently has a lot of miles (170,642 -actual mileage). The engine is and has always been strong, regularly serviced, oil changed every 3500 miles, and I am technically the second owner. My brother (ASE Certified tech) originally bought the car and I purchased through him. He and I have babied it since day one. It has some minor scratches and the front end is fading a little, but nothing out of the usual for an 8 year old car. Besides the fading in the front nose, the rest of the paint is in pretty nice condition (Cayenne Red - a beautiful and rare color). NEVER SMOKED IN!! The radio was upgraded with a Pioneer CD/MP3 stereo and all the speakers (Sony) are working and in great condition. There are a couple of older external Pioneer 6x9's in the back just mounted behind the upper edge of the back seats. The headliner is sagging a bit on the driver's side, but nothing major - could be fixed with ease with a little headliner glue. It's always gotten pretty darn good gas mileage for a sports car - 20 city / 30 Hwy, and I've been able to go 400 miles on one tank more than once when cruising the Hwy on long trips. All lights are working, and there are no fault lights on. Interior carpet and seats are in pretty nice condition. There is normal wear, but no tears or bad spots. The floor mats are custom. It has dual exhaust, headers, and a flowmaster 80 series muffler. It sounds pretty good and not very ricey like most of them. The RAM air intake makes it sound a lot deeper. There are many pictures of the car on my website and if you are interested and need more I can provide.

I would like to get around $3,500 out of it if possible, but I'm willing to negotiate reasonable offers due to age and such. I also have a few other parts that were left over from mods that I will throw in at no extra charge. I have two full size wheels (older steel) with decent tires on them that have been useful if you have a flat - lets you have a full size tire on the vehicle in the event of a flat. I also have the stock hood left over from replacing with the SLP ultra Z hood - the stock metal hood has some bad scratchs on it, but otherwise it is in good condition.
I have many pictures and can get more if you like. If interested, please email me - jon@killebrewonline.com
