  • Hypertech Power Prog. for 95 3.4L Now on ebay!!!

Hypertech Programmer for 1995 3.4 I just wanted to give fellow enthusiasts first shot.

    Works on models: 1995 Camaro/Firebird 3.4 SFI V6
    5 speed and automatic
    PN: 350152

It's in mint condition and provides at least 7 horsepower to the rear wheels. Check out my sig for printouts of my dyno run. My car had very high miles when I installed it, so a fresh motor or lower miles motor should see more of a gain.

I'll ship it in the original box which is in rough shape but still sturdy. It still has the original instructions, too.

This thing is super rare and almost impossible to find.

    Email me with any questions.

I accept Paypal and money orders.

how many prongs is the plug? Does that change parameters for tire size, gear ratio, shift points, fuel. basically what does it do for you, becaus ei know the older ones don't do all the things that newer ones do.

Sorry it took me a while to post. Gotta work to pay those bills!!

Whitethunder:The connector is for OBD2 but all 1995 3.4's had OBD1 systems with OBD2 ports. Let me know what Hypertech says about the compatibility with 1994's.

Reg Kmet: If whitethunder has compatibiility issues, you're next in line!

Whitethunder: Forgot to add what it does. It removes the speed governor(I never tested this, but Hypertech told me that it does this). Part of the program asks if you have Z-rated tires so I assume this is a confirmation for the speed-limiter removal.

It turns the fans on at a lower temperature. It is designed to have a 160 degree thermostat installed in combination to help the engine run cooler. IMO, this is a GREAT function. I can hear the fans kick on before the temp guage gets past the first mark. Rarely do my engine temps get over the 1/4 mark.

As the dyno sheets prove, this thing adds a little kick to the 3.4. To be honest, you're not going to instantly become a Z28-like Camaro. But you should feel a noticeable gain. This works even better with a free-er flowing exhaust and cold-air intake.

The instructions do recommend that you use only 92+ octane gas since the HPP advances the timing curves. The higher octane is supposed to help prevent detonation. I tried 89 a few times to experiment and didn't notice any bad side effects. But, I can't and wouldn't advise running only 89. Stick with the recommended octanes. It's only 10 cents more a gallon!!

Lastly, it stiffens up the shifts. It's most noticable on the 1-2 shift and somewhat on the 2-3 shift.

Hope this answers all your questions.

I don't think so. It never asked about my gear ratio or tire size during the programming.

Also, I will uninstall the programming before I sell it. I've heard of others not doing this before they sold their HPP then the buyer could not install the programming.

Let me sweeten the deal a bit. I'll now take $250 shipped for the HPP.

                  Thanks for looking!
