  • 1994/1997 Camaro/Firebird for sale $750

I'm selling my 1994 Camaro finally. I've been using it for my business but I need a bit more space for all of my tools so I'm getting a truck. It has the engine/wiring/drivetrain/interior from a 1997 firebird. The engine(3.8) has about 50k on it, the trans(5spd) has about 100k on it. The body/chassis has about 100k on it. The engine has no emissions equipment on it so it backfires on a loaded decel sometimes. I have a hurst short throw on the trans with a short stick from my mustang on it with a T-handle. I have hptuners that I'll give with the car and also a disk/posi/4.10/girdled rear end that will come with the car. Its just been rebuilt 1000 miles before I bought it, but I never installed it(needs lines/rotors/calipers/pads). The engine also has pacesetter headers and an el-cheapo cold air intake. The interior is about 80% complete and I have all the parts to finish it up. There is no A/C and I blocked off the center vent passages to put gauges in the holes of the dash but they are no longer there, just the stock vents. The radio wiring is not connected, nor are the mirror lights. Overall the car needs plenty of TLC to be complete but it is meant to be used more or less as a beater car. I get 300 miles to the tank so I like it for that purpose. Oh yes, exterior is black with primered hood and interior is grey. Definately needs a paint job. But as I said, its really just great for a get around car. Also has a new alternator. Ok, so here is what you get for $750 even if you scrapped the car, haha:
    -HP tuners
    -Pacesetters
    -Hurst Shifter
    -50k mile engine
    -Rebuilt performance rear
    -New Alternator
So over $1500 just in parts. If you're interested let me know, I'm located on Long Island in New York.

Oh yeah, obviously, check engine light is on, ABS light is on(all ABS disconnected), and airbag light is on(airbags are there and connected, they were deployed in the donor car, so that may just need to be reset or something).

Will it make a trip to Ohio fine, and do you have any way to deliver it for xxx amount?

Also what rims/tires and exhaust are on it?

Any Pics, I'm very interested at that price to possibly pick me up another.

Was any harm ever done to the engine with the turbo kit, or does everything run 100% no leaks/smoke?

The car runs and drives perfect save for the slight backfiring....it almost sounds more like a rattle on decel rather than a backfire. I drive it all the time. The engine is in perfect shape still, the turbo was on for such a short period of time and never boosted more than 9-10psi which is what we know they can handle. The clutch is a spec stage 3...forgot to add that. The car will make it to ohio but I don't have time to drive the thing over there. As for where I am, I'm in Westbury, but the East Meadowish westbury near eisenhower park. Up near old country road. I'll have to post pics sometime later. Its really just as i described. You can't be looking for a perfect car in this or a show winner, its just gonna be a beater that will last you a long long time if you take ordinary care of it. Aside for the pacesetters, exhaust is stock. Take care. If anyone has questions call me tonight, i'll be at work. 516-316-9602. Thanks.

if the sale to andrew falls through you will get pics. As of now I don't really have the time nor is it necessary. There is no body damage whatsoever, the front grille piece is cut out since I had the intercooler mounted there. The paint is just as I said with the primered hood and is a black repaint from green. All body panels are straight, pretty much no dings from what I can tell, all glass is good. Interior is incomplete but not bad by any means. Its a $750 beater car, not something you go park in front of the local hot spot to pick up chicks...lol. I'll keep you guys posted on the sale status.
