1996 rear end, 3.42 gear ratio, disc brake, Auburn limited-slip differential. Complete with calipers, rotors, pads, e-brake cables, ABS harness and 19mm stabilizer bar. This was a 4-channel ABS rear that has been converted to 3-channel brake lines, ABS worked in my car reading from the left sensor only. The rear was cleaned up and painted last year, picture below, have since changed to a 3.73 rear so this one has to go.
The rear is mechanically sound. The posi works great and there is no noise from bearings or gears. The pinion seal does seep a bit, although this has never caused me a problem. Pads do come with the calipers although you will most likely need to change them soon. I had to swap some of the brake hardware to my new rear, so you will need 2 x 10286122 bolts and 4 x 21012386 washers to connect brake hose to caliper. These parts should be under $10 and are available from your dealer or through gmpartsdirect.com
