For sale is a catalytic converter test pipe for single cat. 98-02 Camaro and Firebirds and possibly the 93-97 F-body's(not sure though) This test pipe replaces your catalytic converter to see if there is a problem with your cat. Thus naming it a test pipe. It also adds horsepower since it bypasses the cat and has a place for the O2 sensor. It is not intended for street use but that is up to you. Price is $85 + shipping. would this work for a 97 lt1? does it just bolt right up

I know for 100% that it fits v6 f-body's but I'm not sure if it fits v8's. If you have the same cat./pipe running under the passenger side as the v6's do it will work. I can send you pics. if you'd like. I have seen v8's use this same type of pipe but I'm not sur if it fit directly in place. Yes it can bolt up or you can use exhaust clamps which is what I used. I used the clamps for when I switched back to my cat.
