I have 2 for a 3.4, and they may fit a 3.8 i don't know. I got a brand new one for the hell of it with my rebuild (in porogress). the old one worked fine while on the car. The other is 45,000 miles old both in good condition. one is ac delco and the other is GP sorensen. $25 shipped each.
