What exactly does an O2 simulator do? I plan on gutting my cat. -
the O2 simulator tells the computer that the Catalytic converter is in perfect condition and doing what its suppose to so you wont throw a code and a SES lightComment

I am not really sure why they sell them in pairs but you only need 1 for the O2 sensor that is after the cat.
