i can't really say i have never had the car on a stock motor before

for 1995-1997 car you have to modify the y-pipe also any welder shouln't have trouble correcting it its only abot 3 inches off, or find some used 2000+ manifolds

No teh 98 still has an angled throttle body, only differance should be

95-98 same (angled throttle body)

99-02 same (straight Throttle body)

Actually I believe you do have to modify the Y pipe. The kit is designed for the new 2000+ manifolds.
