This Monsoon receiver comes from a '98 Camaro. The car has 98k miles on it.
It was removed on 4/29/06 in order to install a new deck. The radio, clock display, and all buttons fuction perfectly. The receiver also comes with all knobs. However, the deck does not play CDs. When a disc is inserted, it simply spits it back out and displays "err." The backlighting for the numbers (1-6) is also burned out. This can be seen at night, as all other buttons are illuminated, but the numbers are not. As I said, the number buttons do function, they just don't light up at night.
Other than that, the radio works great.
I am looking to get $35 for this, or best offer. Completely functioning Monsoons go from $80-150. This is great for somebody who may know how to fix the deck, or for anyone missing knobs/buttons. If I can't get it sold here, I'm putting it on ebay.
