Hey guys, im looking to sell my 1998 Camaro 3.8 a4. its factory Metallic Navy Blue, which i think is a gorgeous color. its got a little over 80k miles, the car is verrry mechanically sound, the engine/trans/rear are in great shape, everything maintenence has been very well kept up with. It has the y87 performance package, which includes the posi 3.43 rear, the quick steering ratio, among other things. its got the full original factory y3f ground effects package. The paint is decent, but has a few small flaws (scratches/chips) and has a tiny ding in the hood, and a dent in the rear left quarter panel, but isnt really hard to fix, and isnt very noticable if youre not looking for it. Ive only owned this car for about 8k miles, and supposedly the owner before me used it as a daily hour commute to work car, so the miles are mostly highway. All the flaws on the body were there when i bought the car, and werent bothersome enough for me to fix. Noww.... onto the good stuff :naughty: I have quite a few mods done to the car in the short time ive owned it. hm...where to start, ok, its got pacesetter headers, 3" slp s-pipe, TSP Rumbler Cat back with turndown tips tucked up so you cant see the exhaust. MSD spark plug wires, Accel Spark Plugs. Its got the Lakewood Lower Control Arms, Im going to leave in the Top of the line Alpine CDA-9855 Head Unit. Its got an optima Red Top Battery. It doesnt have much tread life left Yokohama AVS-1000 p245-16-45 tires on the front, and 3/4 tread p245-16-45 Fuzion ZR-i tires on the rear. The bulbs in the gauge cluster, the HVAC, the door handles, the rear view mirror, the rear dome light, have all been swapped to Blue LED's, which gives a stunning appearance, usually a double take when i hit the unlock button on my keys. and the interior lights up blue. umm...its got the stock gray interior. ...well, i think theres some more things, but im tired and need to get some sleep. so, im done listing things. if youre interested ill tell you more. Im looking to get $5000 OBO, make me an offer, i personally think its a bargain. btw, sorry, i dont want to consider trades, if a moderator would do me a favor and edit the title of my thread to just F/s and get rid of the trade, id appreciate it, thanks

the price has been bumped down to $4000, still includes all of the above though. really need to sell it. anyone? how about obo?

wow, no offers at all? i guess ill just have to put it up on autotrader, i thought that 4 grand would be a steal for this car. guess not. any advice on why noones buying?

can i get some more pics? and maybe a lil more information on the car's mechanics.. what problems or possible future problems it may have? also i have a 1997 XLT if you decided you were interested in a trade.

does it have t-tops?

Jeeze that is a steal, I would LOVE that car, but i'm afraid i'm way to far away, and i just bought a car. I wish this was on the market when i was looking and you were closer...:(

JGensic, all the work has been done personally by me, (i'm 20, been working on cars since i was 12, rebuilt my first carb at 13). No t-tops, theres no problems with this car, the only reason im selling is because im not a really big fan of 4th gens (my true love is 3rd gens). The car is seriously mechanically sound. I know it sounds shady the prics is pretty low, and it sounds like somethings wrong here, but you can check it out yourself, i just need to sell the car to make room for a new 3rd gen :-) ... the only future problems it may have...well, the front tires need to be replaced, and ive noticed a very very slight brake pulse (rotors need to be replaced, just replaced the brake pads, and it accentuated the problem, not bad at all though). As was stated, when i bought the car, it had a ding in the hood (very small, not noticable) and a dent in the right rear quarter, easily fixed. give me your email address and ill send you more pictures. any other questions and are you seriously interested? I'd rather sell it on here to you guys than sell it to a stupid teenager around here. i want to give her a good home :-)
