Thanx man..... blldog is the one who turned me onto this site. I have a 98 V6 firebird thats slightly modded but i need to learn more about...Theres alot of useful info here for 3.8's. I also have a highly modded 99 ws6 hiding in the garage for when i need a little more. hahhaahah

Its not etched its a just a black decal i had made for mine.... i could prolly arrange to have some decals made for a few dollars more.

Why wont it fit a 97? Isnt it the same console?

i dont know if it will fit or not... i have only used it on 98-02 cars

I am not sure on the birds, but I know that the Camaros in 97 had the new interior and tail lights with the old style front end. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I am not trying to cause an argument, I am very curious cuz I am interested in one for my car! Those look dam sweet! :D

open the center console and right behind the cup holder is there 2 small 8 or 10mm screws holding the rear of the console down?

Well then it may work, thats how these attach........ but i have never tried it on one(older than 98) so i cant gaurantee
