For sale is my 1994 Chevrolet Camaro. I purchased the car in 2000 and have been the only driver since that time. When I bought the car it had ~98k miles and over the last 6 years I have only added about 7500 miles/yr (currently at 145k mi). The Camaro is in average condition for a 12 year old car with a few scratches, dings, and dents on the exterior. Overall the paint is in very good condition and the interior is clean and free of any rips, tears, or major stains. I’ve taken very good care of the car mechanically and it has always gotten the attention that it needs. Well over $4000 in new parts in the last 5k-10k miles include: Head Gasket (cylinder heads magnafluxed and resurfaced), Front/Rear stabilizer bar end-links/bushings, fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel filter, all 6 fuel injectors, water pump, alternator, battery, all 3 ignition coils, plugs/wires, serpentine belt, catalytic converter, transmission mount, PCV valve, K&N air filter, oil/filter change with Mobil 1 filter and Valvoline MaxLife oil, rear differential gasket and Valvoline Durablend synthetic gear oil, and two new Z rated Michelin tires in the front (glacier grips in the rear installed last winter). The car also has a great sounding $1000 stereo system installed (Pioneer DEH-P4000 head, Rockford-Fosgate Punch 160alpha amplifier, JL Audio 12W3 subwoofer) that I will include with the sale. The engine is very strong and will purr for at least another 50k-75k miles, the transmission shifts strong but is in need of having the rubber output shaft seal replaced (no damage to gears/synchros/vac lines, etc). The oil pan will need to be repaired/replaced soon [an afternoon’s worth of work] as the front corner has become porous and generated a slow leak (about 1 quart every 1-2 weeks…I’ve never found it to be a real problem and just add as necessary). I’m selling the car to help fund the purchase of a new (to me) BMW, but I know that I will miss her when she’s gone. This is a great car to drive in the summer and has never been a problem in the winter, someone will have a lot of fun with her and since I’ve done almost all of the needed maintenance they shouldn’t have to deal with any significant mechanical issues. The asking price is $2000 or best offer. The car is currently located in Somerset, Ma; please email me with any questions you may have and to set up a test drive. I have many pictures that I can email to any interested parties. Thanks!
