Description: 1998 Pontiac Firebird Formula
Miles: 112K
Price: $10,500 OBO
Additional Information:
This is a 1998 Pontiac Firebird Formula in Navy Blue Metallic. This is a rare version of the Firebird! It's an automatic with 112K miles. This car has never been faster in its life! It's got a gray cloth interior with power everything, traction control option, Monsoon sound system (which I upgraded to JL 6.5" subwoofers with Eclipse amp, all is included), and T-Tops.
This car drives better than it ever has. It has a very firm shift. It has so much power, I can chirp the tires between the 1-2 shift, even with the DRAG TIRES ON! Thats impressive. I enjoy driving this everyday, but with marriage only a few month away, and a fiance with a camaro, I'm the one taking the hit and letting the Formula go. I have both the keys for this car, the square and round one with the stock keyless entry remote.
This car DOES have Normal Wear & Tear for a 8+ year old car. I would still say that this car is still in GREAT condition for its age!
Mods:
Remote Starter with keyless entry - by DEI
Trans-Am bumper cover, purchased from Trans-Am, so color matches perfectly.
Texas Speed Inc. 85mm intake lid
SLP 85mm MAF
Nitto 555's drag radials on the rear tires (car is so powerful, you basically need these jsut to do normal driving, otherwise you're all over the road)
Custom high-intensity LED's in the fog lights (on a relay to turn on when the car turns OFF, it only pulls 15mA, so these can run all day and night for months without draining the battery)
Optima Red Top battery
K&N Reusable Air Filter
Tint: 50% on front (becuase i got a ticket for having 20% previously) and 20% on the rear hatch window
Honda S2000 Start Button Install (as seen here: http://members.cox.net/pitre/s2000sw.htm exactly the same results)
New Turn Signal Lamp Fixtures (really makes the car look new with the new clear lamps)
New Alternator (less than 1K miles, old one was slowly failing)
Magnaflow Exhaust (only muffler to repalce stock, I like the stock look, while keeping the power hidden!)
The bad:
The power antenna does not work (I've disconnected the power, so it's always been in the down position. Never needed to replace it, since it never became a problem)
