I originally bought the chip from jesse "radcat." It works great i'm just getting rid of it because im planning on getting a powerdyne. so if you know any for sale.... at any rate the part number is 10020-S which will work with any 2000 camaro or firebird 3.8L w/ manual transmission. it is a stage 2 intended for you with intake and exhaust, for best performance if anybody has any questions feel free to email me @ joshgates@hotmail.com i have a few more pictures.

depends on what you had done to your PCM. the jet chip will advance timing and play with spark and fuel. I guess all i can say is it depends. on who tuned your pcm and if they are better at tunning the the jet programmers, it also matters as to wether the tune you have now takes into account exhaust and intake like the jet stage 2 is.

I had it tuned by PCMforless.com

I told them i had Whisper Airlid, K&N, SLP CAI, Custom 3 inch exhaust with magnaflow high-flo cat and Flowmaster 80 series muffler....SLP timing Module, MSD ignition wires, Iridium Spark Plugs, 3.42 gears with and LSD, Bosche o2 sensors....

What do you think?

just checked out thier website. well i can tell you what i have on my car:

flowmaster cat back
magnaflow highflow cat
removed air silencer
accell cool blue filter
msd dis 4 w/ blaster coils
ngk trk spark plugs - prep for powerdyne
GMS 255l fuel pump- prep for powerdyne
i can tell you that the jet chip defenitely advances timing i had some knock especially with my original bosch platinum plugs. as for pcmfor less tuning it doesn't make a difference if all the O2 sensors are bosch or not. i replaced all mine with what pepboys happened to have which was bosch. the key thing anbout the jet chip is that it can be taken out wheever you want want, whether it be a dealer visit or like in my case i'm planning on getting the powerdyne, because of this i can run my car fairly safely with a 6lb pulley with out having to worry about my timing advancing causing knock. with your setup you would definitely have to get your pcm tuned back to at least stock if you have any plans for a poweradder in the future. then you would have to tune it again if you add more boost. my 2 cent's i like the plug and play feature, as to whether which one is better only dyno tuning with the same exact car at same temp, etc could proveone way or another. i would bet they are fairly comprable. within a few horsepower of each other.

i hear you man! I kept my stock PCM and just bought one through them! SO i can go back and forth....doesnt really matter to me
