so, this wed. night, i will make the desision to part out my car or to continue to get it running. i had put a rear main seal in the 3.4 i was building. then i went to adjust the valves. i rotated the motor to #1 tdc. it turned easily. After i adjusted one set of valves, i tried to turn over the motor to #4 tdc, and it was VERY hard to turn. I back off the valves to see if that is the problem, but it wasnt, and now that the motor is in the car, im thinking it may be the rear main cap that i loosened to get the rear seal out. I torqued it to spec and it rotated fine for the first valve adjustment, but now that it is in the car, the starter is straining to turn the motor over. I will loosen the rear main cap on Wed. night and hope it spins over. If not, im moving on to a 4th gen T/A or dropping in a carbed v8 and leaving these parts up for grabs if nobody wants the whole car as is.

-side pipe,hanger,dynomax cat, ballflange to fit Ypipe
-New spec stage I clutch rated for 430 ft lbs.
-Borg Warner T5 with new 1-2 shift fork
-stock, shortened shifter with home made 2nd gear bump stop and B&M leather knob
-Edelbrock Valve Covers
-K&N filter
-All electrical and emmisions crap
-And if i forgot something you want, ask if i have it
