What the hell? I'd be weary of this guy... I offered him $420 shipped and we have gone back and forth with tons of emails. He just simply WILL NOT ship these out. He seemed to back out when I said I will pay $200 now and $220 when I receive them.
Also, I live in IL so shipping them to me would not cost him very much...

Although there was no money lost, I did lose alot of time. My car was on jackstands when we both agreed via email to do this deal. All I got were excuses and he never ended up shipping the rims. I did not lose any money, but the we were engaged in the deal for over two weeks in which time I thought I would get the rims. Since he ended up backing out for whatever reason I lost two weeks of my time for looking for rims. It was aggrivating. Finally, even though he supplied two phone numbers, out of all seven times I called, the phone was never answered.Last edited by Kevin Gelso; 08-07-2006, 08:45 PM.Comment

Kevin, if he didn't have time to send them, he didn't have time to send them. You didn't pay, you don't recieve. He didn't rip you off because you didn't lose anything but time. Selling and shipping wheels are not easy, those things are weighed in by BULK packaging, and charged a little more.
But....
Silver bullet...if you did agree to send them for that price, and that time, its best to atleast keep your buyers informed of any changes. I am keeping my eye on this post, right now it hasn't blatantly broke any rules. Mogobs30th, I am not bickering. All I am doing is telling people that it will not be clear sailing when you buy from this guy. Hell, I STILL WANT the rims, and I have wanted them from day one. I am just wondering why he would not ship them to me. Hell I can even pay all up front... I have offered him the most money and I still get shut down. If he will go through with it I will buy these rims.Comment

In all honesty, he doesn't need a reason why he doesn't want to ship them to you. And all you are doing is voicing an opinion that you have yet to experience. You tell people not to buy or send money to him, You have absolutely no right to say to publicize anything of that nature, because you didn't even pay for them. **Silverbullit, there are many places that will quote shipping fees and even bubble wrap and get the wheels out for you. You will probably have to weigh a wheel and estimate the total weight of all 4 for an estimated price on shipping. If you are nervous about payment, send the wheels C.O.D. That way the buyer will be comfortable about receiving the wheels and you will get paid. Plus, even if the buyer backs out of a C.O.D. you will STILL get your wheels back. Sorry for not responding sooner but the internet was not working in my area. Anyway, yes I will purchase them for $375 shipped. But I have to wait for my next paycheck on thursday the 17th.
