Well first of all, this cd player came off my 99 firebird with about 28k miles on it. There is not a single thing wrong with it. It worked great with the steering wheel controls and everything else. It has the equalizers on it and should fit any 98-02 firebirds or camaros. Anyways, I'm looking to get $80 + Shipping for this OBO. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks. The reason im selling it is because I need money to buy a wastegate. I am also willing to trade for a 38mm wastegate if anyone is interested.
this item is the stock CD player...not the monsoon one..I had the exact one in my 2000 firebird...its the stock CD player and plus the monsoon one says monsoon in the top lefthand corner i believe...I dont mean to point this out but dont want you to get screwed when someone buys it and its not a real monsoon...Correct me if im wrong but all firebird, trans am radios have the equalizers on them that are 98-02 i believe
you are correct. that is not a monsson it will say it int he upper left corner where that one says delco. I just got done with the battle of finding a resonable monsoon for my firebird. The camaros had a digital equalizer and the firebirds had a slide like that on but all had equalizers. 98-02 I think.
Sorry about the mixup guys. Thanks for clearing this up for me. When I bought the car, the old owner had told me bs about it having the Monsoon CD Player and speakers. I edited my first post and now the info should be correct.
