Maro99, I've got a thread over here http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread.php?t=78140 about a Firebird I might be getting just to part it out. It's got T-Tops. If there's enough interest in it, I'll go ahead and get the car. I'll give you everything you need for $200 if you're interested at all. both T-Tops, the A-Pillars, B-Pillars, Head Liner, T-Top hatch brackets, Weather strips (if they're good). So far, I haven't seen that there is enough interest in the parts for me to actually get the car, and I don't want to take a loss on it. Post over there and let me know, cause I'll never find this thread again. The only down side to the T-Tops in that car is that they have the dot matrix looking tint stuff on them. Looks like the stuff at the top of the back glass.
Just curious, and this may sound silly, but what do you mean by conversion? Like a regular car make into a t-top? If so, how difficult/expensive is this?
You take all the stuff from a T-Top car, and you modify yours to use them. The 4th gen F-Bodys have the structural support in the roof already, even if the car is a hard top. There's been several members do the conversion on this site, so if you do a search, you'll prolly find out lots of information on it. If I get this car, all the parts from the junk car would prolly cost around $200+shipping (assuming the weatherstripping isn't junk).
Is this still available? If so does is come with the weather stripping also? Whats is yhe least youll take? Sounds like a really goos deal, very interested just let me know. Thanks
