  • '99 Firebird $5,000 OBO

I'm listing this car again after spending a good bit of money on parts for it, I've decided I want something faster.

I have spent over $4,000 in parts for the car alone, and I paid $5500 for it just over a year ago.

The car is a pewter 99 firebird v6 A4 w/tops, power drivers seat, and TCS. It has 138,xxx miles on it but has had many parts replaced and runs great.

the car has the following as far as mods/ new parts go...

    - new Goodyear Eagle Gt-hr's (bought them Saturday 10/14/06)
    - magnaflow cat- back dual exhaust
    -catco hi flow cat
    - SLP CIA w/ K&N filter
    - new shocks (I dont remember the name brand but they work great) all the way around (less than 2,000 miles on these)
    - new TRW tie-rod ends
    - replaced all brake pads not too long ago and had to buy a new caliper for the front passenger
    side
    -new battery
    - new throttle body w/ new sensors
    - Transmission has recently had the fluid/ filter changed (the old fluid wasnt burnt and looked good...I just changed it to be on the safe side)
    - oil changed every 3k miles w/ synthetic oil
-new oxygen sensor @ the cat
    - new windows (car was randomly vandalized on 9-20-06..I had to pay out of pocket for a new windsheild, drivers side window and back glass because insurance wouldnt cover it. All broken glass has been cleaned out of the car, I had it professionaly detailed at the expense of the guys who shot the windows out)
    - new passenger side window motor (drivers side has been replaced recently..works good)
    - new passenger side headlight motor gear

    audio:
    Alpine head unit
2 10" kicker subs in a ported box that sits down where the t-tops go

The interior in the car is all stock, and has no tears, rips, or stains. (I will have pics later this week of the interior)

The only problem I've ever had with the car is the transmission started acting weird, so I took it to a transmission shop where they told me the TPS (throttle position sensor) on the throttle body was bad, which it was, so I replaced the whole throttle body and have had no problems with the car since then.

This car has been pretty much babied since I got it (bought it w/ 124k on it) and was owned by a retired guy before me who put a bunch of highway miles on it. The car really does run great for having so many miles on it.

    now for the pics...
