  • Energy Suspension poly trans mount

Couldn't take it any longer and finally switched back to a rubber mount, went with the solid rubber V8 mount instead of the hydraulic V6 one.

So anyway, here's the ES poly mount up for sale. Used appx. 5,000 miles so it's been broken in, but the vibrations never fully went away. You will feel more through this mount than the stock mount, but at least you won't have to suffer through those first 500 miles or so of a new one.

    Thanks

Break-in period is hell. Its a great mount though, really crisp shifts; you wont break this one...

FunkZ, I know what are you went thru, but there is an easy fix for it with set of suspension rolls, I didnt have a time to make a writeup , but it works perfect, if you want I will email you a picture how it should look installed.

      Give it a second chance.

Sure, you can send it to the address in my profile. I'm satisfied with the V8 mount so far however, I doubt I'd switch back. The poly is definitely for the hardcore modders, those guys who think loudmouths and rumblers are tame, lol. But it did make shifts rock-stable.

Haha, thanks. That's definitely a different solution to the problem.

i bent my stop. so the mount itself isnt broken but the 1-2 shift is HARD

                      Here:
                      http://www.ftpp.net/V6Drivetrain.htm

It's the zinc-finish transmission mount. I have the mount, base plate and one set of the bolt/washer, don't know what I did with the other one, but you can only use and only need one anyway. (only one bolt hole in the cross member)
