  • ALuminum Driveshaft! 10K Miles on it! Still straight!

Hey everyone i had bought this item originally off a guy from ls1tech who said the driveshaft had 10k miles...He said it had come off when he had his 12-bolt and it scraped up the yoke a little but.. See pics for that part...

It needs a new u-joint and i put a new u-joint into it but have lost the bearing caps since then...so its an easy fix..just get one from autozone for like 15.00 or something like that..

I paid 150.00 for this and im going to sell at 115 shipped...I accept paypal...Check out my other items for sale also...

I'm intrested in it but how serious is that gouge mark? It looks like it will affect the integrity of it. Alos, I see that it was on a 12 bolt originally, will this bolt up to a stock rear axle? What modifications might need to be done to make that work? TIA

I had the driveshaft checked out by a shop back home when i bought it and they said that everything will be fine on it....I already changed out the u-joint back to our stock 10-bolt..so all you would have to do is pop the c-clips off the u-joint i had put on there that is connected to the yoke and pop the two end bearing caps off and then just put a new u-joint back in...you can get it from autozone...so as of right now the driveshaft sits as a hook up to a 10-bolt..I just put that info in there just to make sure everyone knew it came off the 12-bolt..
