Okay so swapped my 98 block with a 2001 block so I have some goodies of the 2001 that would not translate over to the new engine, lower intake manifold up basically. All items are from the 2001 camero 14K on um. Actual shipping costs apply, give me your zip.

Getting them out is the *****. They go in pretty easy. Clipping is not that hard either.

Purge the fuel lines. Undo your fuel lines screws (not the hose). There is a retainer metal clip around each injector. So you undo this. It will fly off most likly so watch were it lands. Then you have the hard *** part. Wiggle the injectors loose. They are all really really in there and are a pain to get off. After they are out its a simple install. Make sure you do not get any fuel on the contacts (electronic part of injector boot). Plug new injectors in and reattach clips. attach fuel lines (not hose) after you reseat your injector heads. Turn key to 1 click before start and let it sit for 10 secs, build up fuel pressure again, crank it a few times. Drive.

what exactly do you mean about "purge the fuel lines"?

To purge the lines, you must remove the Fuel Pump Relay, then start the car and keep it running till it dies. Then the fuel pressure will no longer be built up within the system, making the removal of lines and injectors safer and easier.

is the fuel pump relay with all the other relays in that little black box by the driver side front fender? if so which 1 is it?

The fuel pump relay is an electrical connector and should be in one of your electrical boxes.
