                Re: Drum-to-Disc brake swap kit

I'm not trying to be an @ss, but your buddy paid me with a debit card which costs me $3.24 with every payment with Paypal. Could you ask him to just send money, not pay with a debit card? Once is fine, but you are sending 2 payments so in the end its going to cost me over $6 just to accept them. I'd appreciate it.

Would this swap kit work on a 99 Grand Am by any chance.

                          Re: Drum-to-Disc brake swap kit

my bad duder. ill let him know. if by chance, do you know if this kit needs a "proportion valve"? i have heard from a friend that some drums brakes hold a constant 5% pressure on the brakes and if thats the case then it will eventually push the piston into the rotor and lock them up. me being 19 and not knowing a ridiculous amount about cars ive never heard of a proportion valve but this guy is pretty good at what he does so... im curious. sorry again for the debit thing.

Dont worry about the debit thing bro, its cool

As for the 'proportion valve', I have no f'ing clue what that is. I've read Loochy's write up on how to install this kit and it doesnt mention anything about that so as far I know, no, you dont need one.

so i should be fine without a new one right? even if i do itll only take me a set of rotors to find out i guess. next payment should be sent within the next few days.
