JUST LIKE TITLE SAYS!!! About 3000 miles on them...50 shipped..I went over to the rents house today and was cleaning out alot of the garage and I have some of my old Firebird parts still. These are a set of pushrods I bought a while back...I mean a while back lol since this post is about 2 years old...I never installed them. I will post up pics tonight.
not sure on the install cost since I was going to do my own but as far as performance gains it will give you more HP I know that paired with a nice set of valve springs and retainers. I woul search around since I never got aroudn to installing and I will see about searching tonight for the exact gains you will see for something like this.
? These are hardened pushrods; you'd buy these if you're building up your valvetrain for a boost, nitrous, or cam project.
Pairing pushrods with new springs and retainers won't yeild any HP gains. Also, since these rods are shorter than stock (albeit, only a little), they would technically give you less valve lift, therefore less HP, lol.
Install wise, you'd need new rocker arm bolts ($15) and maybe some new valve cover gaskets ($15). You need a torque wrench for the bolts. That and an hour or so of your time.
Hope this answers the people's questions. I might pick these up off you, I'll keep you posted.
