3.42 gears

I have an extra set of 3.42's with very low miles on them and they dont make any noise. I bought them with the intention of putting them on my car, but snagged a whole rearend that already had 3.42's.

I dont know about installing them, I was going to have a professional mechanic do it. :o

I was quoted $150 and that included fresh gear oil. I would check with a local shop close to you, they may vary from area to area.

Cuz I have the exact same ones in my rearend now and they dont make noise. :p :p

If you still have them, what kind of other changes am I going to have to make to my car if I have thses put in. (i.e. computer, speedo, ect.) cause this is a great price just want to make sure that there is not $1,000 worth of other stuff to do after! :) thanks!

Your speedo will read 10% higher, but thats the only thing that needs adjusted.

If you know someone who has HP Tuners they can adjust your speedo or just take out your PCM and send it to Texas Speed or PCM For Less and have them do a quick flash for like $50.
